A Pittsburgh-based multimedia artist, Joshua Brown is the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble’s resident photographer for the 2017 season. Josh is a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University studying Technical Writing & Music Technology, with a minor in Sound Design. With a strongly opinionated eye for visual communication, Josh documents PNME’s seasonal journey and designs engaging images for the ensemble. Throughout the other 11 months of the year, Josh spends his time composing contemporary opera and chamber music, designing self-published magazines, and refusing to let the existential dread set in.
